When the airlines started charging for checked-in baggage, there was a lot of hue and cry. Their (the airlines) excuse was and remains, that fuel has become very expensive. Because the economy is down, people want cheap tickets, so lugging your heavy bags is costing us fuel/money. You want to carry bags – you pay. So we adjust. When we spend a good bit of time searching for the best fare, not many of us want to pay for bags.
So what do we the travelers do? We adapt. Our hand bags have become bigger and stuffed. Our towels now go in our laptop bags and when your wife tells you she has packed for you, that means more than half of your bag has her stuff. All in all a little inconvenient but not that bad. Now if I can find a clean pair of socks 🙂
Assalamualaikum,
Hey…this is Shazi this side. I have been a subscriber of yours’ for a while now but truth be told, never really read your mails with much attention. (guilty!!)
It was such a refreshing change and quite an unexpected (but pleasure-giving) surprise to see the words ‘internet marketing’ and ‘Ramadan’ in one webpage! Kind of made my night…lol!
I am a newbie IM-er but a long-time writer. I plan to stick around your blog a lot more now. 🙂
Drop me a line, if you will.
Keep up the great work.
Shazi
P.S. Ramadan Mubarak!!!!
