The best Editor for WordPress
Many bloggers are faced with the vexing issue of formatting their blog posts. The default WordPress editor is a very basic editor and can’t do much at all. Once you get beyond the basics of blogging, you want to insert tables, pictures, videos and you want your posts to look nice and professional. That’s what leads people on a wild goose chase of finding out some decent WordPress editors. People ask ‘What is the best editor for WordPress‘. Well that is a very subjective thing. What I think of as the best editor for WordPress may be very different than what you like. However; the question keeps coming up so I decided to do some research. You think WordPress will provide you such a list but they don’t. There are people who have listed 12 or so editors, others a few less but those lists have not been updated in 5-6 years. Instead of chasing dead leads, I finally decided to dig in and find out what really is available right now. It turns out there are two types of editors, ones that work as WordPress plugins and others that work as standalone desktop applications. The information is more than would fit a reasonably sized blog post so I decided to convert it to a PDF report. Enter your name and email in the box here and it will be emailed to you. No charge. Read the report and if you find it useful, share your thoughts with others in the comments section below. Also, if you come across one that I missed, please let me know in the comments section below. I already have like a dozen but maybe I missed one. Good luck!
