Whenever a client asks us to write copy, we decline. We know our limitations. Nerds don’t think like sales people or psychologists. We actually have two type of nerds and we don’t even let them intermix. We have separate people for design and separate for development. We do not let our developers touch design. Just because you know how to use Photoshop does not make you a designer. One thinks form, the other thinks function. By the same token, we don’t let our designers write copy.

Copy writing is a separate art and requires understanding of human emotions and language, both quite alien to the average designer or developer. Maybe some day we will hire some copy writers. Till then, please don’t mind when we refer you to others.
