Many people are fretting over the recent Google search algorithm update dubbed ‘Google Penguin’. It has hit thousands of sites and as a result those sites are no longer ranking as high as they were in searches. Penguin is focused on penalizing and removing from search, pages or sites that are / were trying to circumvent Google’s guidelines. Google in it’s search ranking algorithm assigns value and weightage to a number of things and smart marketers try to sniff out the algorithm and run with whatever seems to be working. That’s what marketers do and that’s how they make money. Myself included. So why is everyone up in arms? Because it affects their income. Google never asked anyone to manipulate [Read More ...]

Dedicated Servers Review and Comparison

Dedicated Servers Review and Comparison   When you outgrow a shared server, you upgrade to a VPS server. When even a VPS server won’t cut it any more, it’s time to graduate to a dedicated server. Dedicated hosting or having a dedicated server means that you are assigned a server class computer that hosts only your site(s) and is not shared with anybody else. I am a firm believer in sending out press releases every time you have something worthwhile to say about your company, product or service. Having said that, I would advise you to spend some time on your press release before you press the send button. It’s that time of the year again when our golf unit is busy testing golf clubs. If you like golf then you’ll love this part. It’s hard work, very hard work but it’s very enjoyable. You don’t mind the blisters and the aching backs. You are like a kid in a candy store as you test golf clubs after golf clubs. One of the things I was very interested in is how the Ultra Lite shaft and grips would perform when paired with the Acer Leggera clubhead. It worked out just great and I promptly replaced my driver. You can read more about the reviews we do at http://interlopergolf.com/ and http://www.interloper.com/reviews/index.php Have fun!

What is Membership software? A software that let’s you control who can and who cannot view the contents of a site is considered ‘Membership Software’. Some membership software are free but most are at a price, some relatively inexpensive, some at a premium. For one of our membership sites, we were using a software for a while but that was not being updated and had become very antiquated. We decided to do a thorough analysis of what is best out there right now and compare them feature by feature. We completed our analysis and went with a specific membership software. We are making the same spreadsheet available to you as an Excel file. It’s too big to fit on the screen [Read More ...]
