Before you embark on an internet venture of yours, step back a little and reflect on why people should pay you anything. Do you have a job or business right now? Why are you paid a salary? Because you do something for somebody. You went through school for 12 to 16 years or more. That got you a job. Your experience and performance on the job got you raises. With your years of education and experience, you are able to provide a service to your company that it needs and in return you get paid.
So now on this internet venture of yours, how would you earn money? Somebody has to pay you. Right? Why should they? Because you will provide them a product or service that will take care of their needs, whatever they may be.
Right now, if you are new to the world of internet marketing, you may not have enough knowledge nor a product or service to sell. So what do you do? You start learning. Initially your progress will be slow. No matter what some guru says, there is no way around that. But what about those push button solutions I see being advertised? Well if they were push buttons why are they giving them to you? They can keep it all themselves. If they need more money, they can create another button and push that. Can't they?
The World Wide Web has opened up opportunities that previous generations had never seen before. At the same time, it has created unprecedented competition. What does that mean? That means, the world is at your footsteps but you have to be smart enough and educated enough to take advantage of it. And there is no lazy way or easy way. The more effort you put in it, the more you'll get out of it.
If you are totally new to the world of internet marketing, I would suggest you start with my free course 'How to make money with no money'. This course will get you started in just the right direction. Continue with your current job but spend time regularly learning about internet marketing. As your learning improves, you will start grasping the true potential of this marketplace. Who knows, some day you may be able to quit your job and do this full time.
Most likely, you don't have a product of your own to start with. That is not a problem. At your current job, the product most likely does not belong to you either. Our focus will be on selling other peoples products. In the traditional world of marketing, a sales or marketing professional brings the buyer and seller together and get's paid a commission or salary. It's the same in the online world.
Our focus will be on generating our first dollar. Once you make $1, then we will see if we can make $10, then $100. Once we get the methodology right, it's more of ramping up your effort. Once you get it right, rinse and repeat.
As evident from it's very name, this course focuses on getting things done through free resources. We will however; introduce you to paid services also. If and when resources allow, start using the paid services. They save you time, i.e., you can get more done in less time.
